Comments like Jim's are common around The Music School. The school is an afterschool orgainziation focusing on a quality musical experience for all who enroll. From the nationally aclaimed Super Band, a 20 piece jazz big band, to the orchestra program and the studio performance program to the private lessons, the expectations and outcomes are high.
"We want to insure that eveyone who enrolls at The Music School learns how to play," commented executive director Caleb Chapman. "But more importantly we want to insure that all our students become strong music makers and music lovers."

Vandoren and DANSR sponsor three artists in residence each year. The artists conduct master classes and clinics for the faculty and students as well as perform some pretty inspiring music.
