Continuing the tradition of the old fashioned jam session, Vandoren took the concept on the road at the 2008 winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California and featured Vandoren artists Eric Marienthal and Antonio Hart in a rousing session at The Pulse Club. Countless players from Los Angeles and dealers from the NAMM community joined in to create four hours of incredible music.
"These are the types of events that we love to do," commented Steve Baughman, Vandoren artist consultant. "It's our way of growing the jazz community and carrying on one of the greatest traditions in American music - the jam session. It's totally unique to jazz, and Vandoren recognizes that."
